7 Simple & Positive Changes For The New Year 

To Stimulate Your Weight Loss And Improve Overall Health
The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to ask yourself these questions, re-assess your priorities and get your health on track. 
1. Are you feeling tired and sluggish? 
2. How is your blood pressure and cholesterol? 
3. Do you need to lose a few pounds or maybe a little more than a few?
4. Have you thought about scheduling that check up or dental appointment all year, but never got around to it?
 It's time to make some adjustments and start taking better care of ourselves. It's takes 3 solid weeks of commitment to create a habit.. good or bad. Starting with these small daily steps, you can turn yourself around. Try our 7 small health tweaks for 3 weeks and see how much better you look and feel.

Say Good Morning to Lemon Water Detox. It does wonders for removing toxins from your liver, will rev up your metabolism stimulating weight loss and is a natural anti-inflammatory. Drink one 8 oz glass first thing every morning.
Recipe: 
- Start with a gallon water container of filtered water like Crystal Geyser or whatever you like. Pour out approximately 16oz glasses to make room for the next  ingredients. (save and pour back in once you're done)
- 3 lemons sliced into quarters
- 1/2 sliced medium cucumber
- 1/3 cup fresh sliced ginger root (skin removed)
- 2 Tablespoons organic Turmeric
Ditch that coffee creamer with ten gazillion calories and a bunch of names you can't pronounce. And...Come to find out.. The sugar free creamers labels I read, contain high fructose corn syrup, so what's the point of that?
Recipe: 
- Use a 16 oz. container  with lid (an empty water bottle is easiest for me)
- 2 cups unsweetened coconut milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
- 5 Tablespoons Stevia or natural low cal sweetener. (not sugar or aspartame)
- 2 Teaspoons unsweetened Dark Cocoa
- 1 Teaspoon of Honey - optional
Method: Mix all ingredients in bottle, shake and refrigerate. Use as needed. 

Morning Power Smoothie.

Recipe: 
- Hand full of fresh spinach
- 1/3 Cup of Real Pomegranate Juice
- 1 Tablespoon Chia Seed
- 1 Tablespoon Golden Milled Flax Seed
- Hand Full of Blue Berries
- 1 Banana
- 3 Strawberries
- 1 Scoop Vanilla Whey Protein
- ! Cup Ice
Blend in a high speed blender or smoothie maker. 

Low Carb Breakfast Burrito

Recipe: 
- 1 Egg
-  6 Tablespoon Liquid Egg Whites
- 1 Teaspoon Coconut Oil
- 1 Low Carb Wheat Wrap (50 calories) 
- Tapatillo or sugarless salsa
You may also add in a handful of chopped spinach and onion when cooking your eggs.
Method: Melt coconut oil in pan. Mix and pour egg and egg whites on medium heat. Scoot your eggs to one side of the pan and warm your wrap. Flip wrap after 20 seconds and scoops your eggs inside. Slide onto a plate and add your Tapatillo or salsa to taste. Roll like a burrito. Serving Size 1 -  Total Calories 200
Switch To Coconut Oil
You must have heard by now, coconut oil has a multitude of health benefits, which include but are not limited to skin care, hair care, improving digestion, aids in weight loss and immunity against a host of infections and diseases.
Bread Swap
It's always better to limit your bread intake when trying to drop some ponds but when you must have bread replace it with a low carb wrap.
